Today marks the end of my fourth month on the NutriSystem diet plan. So was my 16th week as good as the previous fifteen? Or did I suffer my first gain of the program?
Not my best work. If my dieting was to be described with Picasso paintings, this week would be one of those lesser-known works that no museum wants and instead winds up in the home of some private collector in Belgium.
My two flex meals were my downfall this week I think. I felt like I might have let them be a little too liberal and with one of them yesterday before my weigh-in, I don’t think that meal did me any favors. But, a loss is a loss and since the advertised average for NutriSystem is 1-2 lbs. a week, I feel like I’m okay. Plus, I still haven’t had a flat or gain week — so I’ll definitely take that.
So how did you guys do with your guesses?
Seems like the majority of you were a bit too optimistic, but I hope to be back in the 3-4 lb. range again next week. Of course, this weekend is the Super Bowl, so I wouldn’t guess too high if I were you.

Meet “Determination” the 40 pound NutriBear. I have also earned the 50 lb. bear and he/she is on the way (I hope). The one downside of NutriSystem is they seem to have trouble keeping track of the bears.
